PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the growth of a chicken and to increase feed utilization in the chicken by orally administering lasalocid, its salt or ester and frenolicin B, its salt or ester as active ingredients to the chicken. SOLUTION: Lasalocid and/or its salt or ester and frenolicin B and/or its salt or ester as active ingredients are orally administered to a chicken. The salts are preferably Na or K salts and the esters are preferably phenyl esters. The active ingredients as well as chicken feed are preferably administered to the chicken so that 50-70 mg lasalocid and 42-54 mg frenolicin B based on 1 kg chicken's body weight per one day are administered in a feeding period, 40-50 mg lasalocid and 34-40 mg frenolicin B are administered in a growth period and 35-42 mg lasalocid and 33-35 mg frenolicin B are administered in a finishing period. |
