SOLUTION: A system always inquires as to whether a key is inserted in an ignition lock 18, by a responsive instrument in the key 20 through an antenna 16. In this case, a key chime 42 sounds as long as the car door is opened and the key 20 is put in the ignition lock 18 to prevent the door from being locked by mistake. In this time, if the door is closed with the key 20 left in the ignition lock 18, CPU 10 drives an alarm 38 to inform the driver of the state and the door is opened for a specified time interval.</p> |
