<p>PURPOSE: To provide a roller of low hardness and high durability including abrasion resistance, keeping a photosensitive drum or recording paper free from contamination at the time of application to an electrophotographic device or an electrostatic recording device such as a copying machine and a printer. CONSTITUTION: Regarding a shaft and a roller having at least two or more elastic layers around the shaft, the base material of the elastic layers is urethane and the outermost layer of the elastic layers is an elastomer. Also, urethane as the base material of the outermost layer is mainly composed of hydrophobic polyol, or polyol and isocyanate, and the hardness thereof is 40 degrees or less as per JIS A.</p> |
