PURPOSE: To obtain a sheetlike extrudate which can be produced by continuous extrusion, has essential characteristics for a high-frequency electric circuit substrate material such as low permittivity, low dielectric loss tangent, and high heat resistance, withstanding solder reflow, and is very suitable as a thermoplastic substrate. CONSTITUTION: This extrudate is produced by extruding a compsn. which is prepd. by compounding 95-40wt.% polyester contg. at least 85mol% repeating 1,4-cyclohexanedimethylene terephthalate units with 5-60wt.% fibrous reinforcement mainly comprising a fibrous metal silicate and/or a fibrous metal borate. |
