PURPOSE: To obtain a low-specific-gravity resin composition for blow molding, which can give a low-specific graavity molding excellent in mechanical properties such as rigidity, impact resistance and pinch-off strength and dimensional accuracy when blow-molded and is excellent in moldability such as resistance to drawdown and deep drawability, recyclability and cost perfomance. CONSTITUTION: This resin composition for blow molding comprises 70-99wt.% resin mixture comprising a propylene homopolymer having an isotactic pentad fraction (IS) of 93wt.% of above or a propylene/ethylene copolymer containing an ethylene content of 15wt.% or below and an IS of the propylene homopolymer part of 93wt.% or above and having an MI of 1.0 or below, and a high-density polyethylene having an MI of 0.1 or below and a Z50 /Z10 ratio of 2-10 (wherein Z10 and Z50 are values of a constant-strain-rate extension viscosity after 10sec and 50sec under conditions including a measurement temperature of 150 deg.C and a strain rate of 0.03sec<-1> ), and 1-30wt.% talc having a mean particle diameter of 10μm or below and an average aspect ratio of 3-20, wherein the content or the above high-density polyethylene is not above 30wt.% based on the entire weight of the composition.
