PURPOSE: To form a clear image of high density at the time of high speed sprinting by using a base sheet with a coloring material layer on one face and a heat-resistant lubricating layer on the other face as a polyester film of less than a specified thickness and containing a filler of a specified particle diameter and a binder resin in the heat-resistant lubricating layer. CONSTITUTION: A heat transfer sheet 1 used for the sublime type heat transfer recording for hard copying an image provided by a video camera or the like is provided with a polyester film 2, a coloring material layer 3 and a heat- resistant lubricating layer 4 constituting a base sheet. At that time, the thickness of the polyester film 2 is formed into 5μm or less. A filler and a binder resin are contained in the heat-resistant lubricating layer 4, and the filler of particle diameter of 0.1μm or less is used. The generation of printing creases is controlled to a large extent by the arrangement. The content of filler is set to be 1 pts.wt. or more to 30 pts.wt. or less to the binder resin of 100 pts.wt., and the thickness of the heat-resistant lubricating layer 4 is set to be 0.2μm or more to 1.5μm or less. |
