PURPOSE: To obtain a YAG laser beam machine which executes exact teaching with easy operation and does not generate the error of the teaching by wear of a tracer as the tracer is not used by positioning by commonly using a laser beam for positioning and an image pickup device. CONSTITUTION: A first reflection mirror moving device 16 is operated to move a first moving reflection mirror 15 from a retreat position P1 to an operating position P2 in the state of stopping a YAG laser oscillator. Further, a second reflection mirror moving device 19 is operated to move a second moving reflection mirror 18 from a retreat position P3 to an operating position P4. A laser output source 13 for positioning which emits red visible light is operated in this state and a laser beam LB2 for positioning is emitted. This red laser beam LB2 for positioning is cast to the surface of a work piece through an optical system for positioning. Next, the operation of the laser output source 13 for positioning is stopped and the second moving reflection mirror 18 is retreated. The image pickup device 14 is then operated to display the video of the work piece on a visual device. |
