CELL FOR PRODUCING VIRUS OF SWINE GENITAL ORGAN/ RESPIRATORY ORGAN SYNDROME AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject cell useful for studying PRRS virus, establishing a PRRS disease diagnosing means and producing a vaccine for preventing PRRS disease by inoculating PRRS virus into a swine epidermal cell and proliferating. CONSTITUTION: A PRRS (swine genital organ/respiratory organ syndrome) virus is inoculated into a swine epidermal cell, which is sensitized to adsorb the virus on the cell. A virus liquid is removed, a cell culture solution is added to the cell and cultured. The culture solution having proliferated the virus is collected by using cell denaturation as an index. The culture solution contains a large amount of the PRRS virus and a passage cell having PRRS virus sensitivity required for obtaining a large amount of the PRRS virus is obtained.
