<p>PURPOSE: To develop a container and method in which, when a thing, such as food, stored in the container is heated with a microwave oven, temperature control is exerted in consideration of the characteristic of the stored thing so that an optional temperature is obtained. CONSTITUTION: A heating package for use in a microwave oven comprises a storage container 1 and a storage-container cover 2, which are used as a pair. The storage container 1 has partition areas whose four sides are surrounded and whose sides and bottom all are covered with a microwave- transmission control material 3 so that they are substantially hermetic. In the storage-container cover 2, its face 6, recess 6', and projection 6", which correspond to the partition areas of the storage container in the same positions are covered with a microwave-transmission control material.</p> |
