<p>PURPOSE: To provide a sheet material feeding device capable of properly separating and feeding one by one even various types of sheet materials different in stiffness. CONSTITUTION: Sheet materials delivered from a feed roller 9 bends and strides over a thrust member 10, thereby being separated one by one. Also, the member 10 changes the support point thereof, depending upon the extent of flexure, and in the case of sheet materials with low stiffness, the member 10 is bent, due to the support pint. In the case of sheet materials with high stiffness, the member 10 is largely bent, due to the support point. As a result, the elastic force of the member 10 is properly obtained, so as to correspond to the stiffness of the sheet materials, and the range of separable sheets can be substantially expanded.</p> |
