PURPOSE: To produce a thermoplastic resin sheet suitable for the casting of a biaxially stretched plastic film capable of stably molding a membrane sheet at a high speed when a molten thermoplastic resin sheet is cooled and molded on a rotary cooling body. CONSTITUTION: A molten thermoplastic resin is emitted to a rotary cooling body in a sheet like form from the slit like emitting orifice 4a of a cap 4 to form a molten thermoplastic resin sheet 2 which is, in turn, cooled and molded on the rotary cooling body 8. At this time, the molten thermoplastic resin sheet 2 emitted from the cap 4 is substantially levitated from the surface of the rotary cooling body 8. |
