PURPOSE: To facilitate the covering work for a cushion material with skin material and improve the quality stability, design, durability, and cushion property by placing a cushion material and a skin material through an adhesive layer on a lower mold, and closing the mold, and heating and pressing the skin material together in tensed condition thereby forming the skin material into the shape of the cushion material. CONSTITUTION: A skin material 1 cut into a specified shape is set, through an adhesive material applied face 4, on the cushion body 11 set in a lower mold 5. And, the mold is closed and the skin material 1 is heated and pressed together to the seat of the cushion material 11 with the press part 9 of an upper mold. At the same time, the skin material 11 is tensed with a peripheral frame 10 and the top of the cushion material 11, and is pressed with a sliding edge 14. With this, the skin material 1 at the section corresponding to the seat side is formed by heat into the shape along the outline of the cushion body 11, and it is bonded to the cushion material 11. |
