<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To markedly increase the wall thickness of a transfer portion as compared with that of the outer peripheral surface of a main body by moving the bottom of a mold toward a head part during the expansion of the extruded tube (parison) inserted in the mold so as to form the inclination-free transfer portion between the head part and main body of a container. SOLUTION: After an extruded tube of which the diameter is slightly larger than that of a head part is inserted in a mold, the lower end of the tube becoming the bottom of a container is closed. A blowing and filling nozzle is inserted in the upper end part of the tube forming the head part and, at first, relatively low pressure air is blown into the tube from the nozzle and, at the same time, a mold bottom 19 is moved from a head jaw 18 to the min. distance position through the max. distance position.
