PURPOSE: To provide a method for obtaining a processed product greatly high in its extractability in a form capable of being drunk after the same steps as those in general tea. CONSTITUTION: This processing comprises (P2) grinding one or more kinds of the collected plants to be subjected to the extraction of ingredients with water, (P5) freezing the ground product at a temperature of <=-5 deg.C (preferably -20 to -30 deg.C), (P6) thawing the frozen product, (P7) drying the thawed product, and subsequently (P8) roasting the dried product. The method can reduce the using amount of the plant raw material to enhance the economical advantage, and especially can effectively utilize a rare plant resource to contribute to the protection of the natural resource. The method can also be utilized for raw materials which are difficult to extract and which have not been drunk, and can further be applied to the production of medicines, etc. |
