<p>PURPOSE: To easily obtain a fluidized carrier for biological treatment coinciding with the characteristics required corresponding to the capacity of each treatment tank. CONSTITUTION: A carrier for biological treatment is immersed in water to be treated to treat the water to be treated with bonded microorganisms. This carrier is obtained by applying heat treatment to a mixture of heat- shrinkable fibers and thermally fusible fibers to mutually fuse both fibers and has predetermined bulkiness. Further, the carrier is formed into a short cut yarn like shape and the specific gravity thereof is 1.00-1.15.</p> |
