<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a stamp ink for stencil printing, which has specific physical properties, causes no localization of the stamp ink in the pad without bleeding and enables continuous printing operation with prompt setting by formulating pigments to a vehicle comprising a resin and an oily solvent. CONSTITUTION: This stamp ink is prepared by formulating (A) a pigment to a vehicle (B) comprising a resin such as rosin, a rosin ester, or a petroleum resin and an oily solvent such as spindle oil or liquid paraffin. This ink has a viscosity of 20-250 poise, preferably 50-200 poise, more preferably 80-150 poise at 25 deg.C at a shear rate of 20/sec and a thixotropy index value (T.I. value) of 1.2-3.0, preferably 1.2-2.5, more preferably 1.2-2.0 calculated according to the formula. Further, a porous impregnable body having continuous pores and a density of 20-300kg/m<3> can be impregnated with this stamp ink to give stamping ink impregnated body.</p> |
