PURPOSE: To provide a method for processing ultrasonic imaging and an ultrasonic imaging apparatus in which a clear displaying of blood vessels is possible by a monochromatic display system. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic receiving signal is analyzed to produce B mode data and the ultrasonic receiving signal is analyzed to produce flow speed data contg. blood flow speed (Step 1) and data with a specified value are substituted for the flow speed data (Step 3). Then, image data are produced from the substituted flow speed data and the B mode data and a projecting processing for taking out a specified value on each pixel to a plurality of image data is executed to produce a projected image (Step 5).
