PURPOSE: To obtain the subject physically stable compound expressed by a specific formula, easy to purify and handle, and having pharmacological action on various kinds of nephrotic diseases and ischemic cardiopathy, etc. CONSTITUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I, e.g. 3-oxa-9-deoxy-9β- chloro-16,17,18,19,20-pentanol-15-cyclohexyl-13,14-didehydro-PGF2α(1S,2R)-(-)-1,2- diphenyl-2-dihydroxyethylamine salt. It is recommended that the compound of formula I be obtained, for example, by reaction of a compound of formula II with 0.5-2 equivalents of (1R,2S)-2-amino-1,2-diphenylethanol of formula III in an inert solvent (e.g. tetrahydrofuran).
