PURPOSE: To connect together joint parts quickly and esasily by assembling a bridge dividing into two blocks, by hoisting them with cranes and positioning on the abutments on both banks and over a river, and sending out the adjusting side block by means of a sending facility. CONSTITUTION: Abutments 1a, 1b are built on both banks of a river, and a sending facility 2 is provided on the abutment 1b. A bridge is assembled dividing into the fixed side block 3a and the adjusting side block 3b at the middle part, and they are temporarily placed on both banks in parallel with the river by cranes 4. At first the fixed side block 3a is hoisted and turned by the crane 4 through a lifting beam 41, loaded on the abutment 1a after positioning, and the extreme end side is fixed with traverse wire. Next, the adjusting side block 3b is similarly hoisted, sent by a sending facility 2 after positioning so as to keep a prescribed space against the fixed side block 3a, and hence the joint parts of both blocks 3a, 3b are connected together. After completing connection, both blocks are hoisted, the sending facility 2 is removed, and both blocks 3a, 3b are brought down on the abutments 1a, 1b and installed. |
