PURPOSE: To provide a slide contact surface layer of excellent wear resistance by cross-linking the base material consisting of polyolefin elastomer with the slide contact surface layer consisting of polyethylene through irradiation of the electron beam to enable the simultaneous extrusion molding. CONSTITUTION: The base material 10 consists of the polyolefin elastomer of electron beam cross-linking type, e.g. the EPDM of the heated cross-linking type, and the slide contact surface layer 20 consists of the polyethylene for general use of the molecular weight of 200,000 level, and cross-linking is made by applying the electron beam upon the joint extrusion molding. The simultaneous extrusion molding becomes possible thereby, and the slide contact surface layer of excellent wear resistance with arbitrary film thickness can be formed at the arbitrary position. When the base material 10 is made of EPDM, cross- linking can be made without blending the vulcanizing agent, and the slide contact surface layer of which is easy in the extrusion molding and excellent in wear resistance can be formed on the lip surface, and the inexpensive door glass slide contact member can be provided. |
