PURPOSE: To correctly supply an arbitrary number of pieces of food to be continuously carried by covering an opening at a beam tip so that it can be freely opened/closed at a terminal end of carrying and also dropping to supply a predetermined number of pieces of rodlike food. CONSTITUTION: Housings 9b of a supplier 1 each containing a tubular roll of fish paste 5 (chikuwa) are continuously moved, while at a side of a rotating shaft 10, when the roll 5 is carried to a lower end of a shutter 7, a cylinder 12 performs pushing operation by a signal from a photoelectric tube which has counted six rolls, and an outer wheel 11a is slipped against a rotation of the rotating shaft 10 to open the shutter 7 up. Then six housings 9b are opened and the rolls 5 inside are sequentially dropped into a hopper 15. The cylinder 12 performs pulling operation thereafter, thereby closing the shutter 7 to prevent the rolls 5 from dropping from subsequent housings. A shutter 16 is always closed in the hopper 15, which receives the six rolls 5 which have been dropped all together, and then the shutter 16 opens to receive the rolls 5 between beams of a transfer conveyer 17. |
