<p>PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive and easy-to-use headlight adjusting unit by providing a marking for upper and lower allowable ranges for a cut line on a screen, directly projecting the irradiation distribution of luminous intensity of a low beam on the screen and adjusting the cut line so that it may be positioned in the marking. CONSTITUTION: A vertical screen 10 is provided with a plate-like vertical screen 11 facing the front surface of a headlight 29 of a test vehicle properly placed on a course line with the clearance having the specified distance L (approximately 1m). Moreover it is provided with a laser oscillator 20 provided on the center part X of the vertical screen 11, having the dotted irradiation pattern, and for setting the irradiation center, and a facing laser oscillator 24 provided on the upper vertical part Y on the center part X, and having the dotted irradiation pattern. A marking 28 for showing the upper and lower allowable ranges of the cut line of the low beam having the irradiation center on the center part X is also provided. Thus, an inexpensive and ease-to-use headlight adjusting unit can be provided.</p> |
