PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform milling cutter machining by a profile slide in a one work process without replacing a milling cutter when reforming the wheels of a railroad wheel set. SOLUTION: In a milling cutter 1 for a wheel set milling machine, plural cutting elements 6, 7 are distributively arranged in the circumferential direction in a rotationally drivable support 2 being almost rotational symmetry according to a profile. The support 2 is divided into plural segments 3, 4, 5 in the shaft direction so that at least a single segment 3, 4, 5 can be moved and adjusted in the shaft direction. |
