PURPOSE: To obtain a honeycomb structure excellent in heat conductivity, capable of appropriately obtaining an article equipped with necessary heat conductivity, excellent in corrosion resistance and durability, simple and easy to produce and also excellent from an aspect of production cost. CONSTITUTION: A honeycomb structure 1 is composed of a planar aggregate of holow columnar cells 2. As the cell walls 3 forming the cells 2, first cell walls 4 made of fiber reinforced plastic wherein pitch base carbon fibers and a resin are combined by bonding, impregnation or mixing and second cell walls 5 made of fiber reinforced plastic wherein pan base carbon fibers and a resin are combined by bonding, impregnation or mixing are used in a selectively and essentially compounded state. |
