PURPOSE: To obtain the subject agent excellent in wiping off workability, capable of cleanly finishing without unevenness even on a deep-colored coating face and protecting a polished face from deterioration due to ultraviolet rays in solar light by blending a polishing base with sericite. CONSTITUTION: This agent is obtained by blending a polishing base with sericite (preferably having 1-10μm particle diameter), preferably in a blend amount of 0.1-30wt.%. For example, a solvent type agent obtained by dissolving waxes such as carnauba wax and polyethylene wax or silicone oil such as dimethylsilicone in a solvent such as kerosine can be used as the polishing base. As necessary, a thickening and gelling agent, an emulsifying agent, an antistatic agent, etc., can be added to the product.
