PURPOSE: To quickly operate an air-bag by providing an eccentric deformed sector weight, which is supported around a shaft vertical to the running road surface and which has a center of gravity at a point separated from the vertical shaft, in a collision impact mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A deformed sector eccentric weight main body 1 is supported by an impact sensing part board (horizontal board) 15 freely to be turned around a shaft 10, and when the eccentric weight main body 1 senses the impact, the eccentric weight main body 1 is turned around the shaft 10 so as to drive unlocking links 3, 14 for two gas bombs through a weight cam 2 fixed to the shaft 10. Locking condition of hammer cams 4, 14 is thereby canceled, and the hammer cams 4, 14 drive two gas bomb opening pins 5, 5 so as to blow out the gas of two bombs 9, 19, and an air bag 30 is filled with the gas. Increasing of gas capacity of the air bag is remarkably important for the improvement of the safety of the air-bag device. |
