PURPOSE: To prevent insertion by reversely rotating or stopping a motor when the output of a speed change computing element is the specified set value or more in the case of judging window glass to be in closing action and also near the totally closed position. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 24 judges whether window glass 16 is in ascending action, and in the case of being ascending action, the CPU judges whether the present position is in a totally closed position range. In the case of the glass 16 being out of the totally closed position range, the CPU 24 judges whether the speed change rate of a motor 10 is the preset first set value or more. In the case of the first set value or more, the insertion of an object 38 is judged, and a descent signal is outputted from a driving circuit 18 to rotate the motor 10 reversely, thus lowering the glass 16. The glass 16 is lowered until the speed change rate during the descent of the glass 16 is judged to be not less than the second set value larger than the first set value. The insertion of the object can thereby be detected while object holding force is still weak. The damage or the like of glass can be prevented, and cost can be reduced. |
