PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pharmaceutical composition for the treatments of skin diseases such as lichens, prurigo, pruriginous toxicoderma and severe pruritus of neurogenic origin by using a substance P antagonist as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This composition contains a substance P antagonist as an active ingredient. The substance P antagonist is preferably sendide of the formula as a peptide, a 2-tricyclyl-2-aminoethane derivative, an alkoxy and/or aryloxytetrazolylbenzofuran carboxamide, etc. The substance P antagonist is preferably used in an amount of 0.0001-0.1 wt.% based on the total amount of the composition. The composition can be prepared in the form of e.g. skin- treating creams, body creams, lotions or foams for treatments. |
