FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining gland lumen volume and introduced alcohol volume by means of three-fold increase in contrast substance quantity used for carrying out sialography at the stage of filling excretory ducts, making anesthesia and salivary gland secretion inhibition using retroglandular envelope-conductor block and periductal infiltration anesthesia, sealing gland lumen by applying buried purse-string suture around the duct with cannula, performing single parenchymatous filling the gland with 96% ethyl alcohol through syringe, taking away the cannula, temporary daily ligating the duct with one node of the suture followed by gland epithelium detritus evacuation by means of massage. Complete salivary fistulae is specifically treated by filling the gland lumen or its lobe through fistula entrance with alcohol. The entrance is previously sealed and ligated with buried purse-string suture. The incomplete fistula of the gland duct and parenchyma is treated by sealing its lumen by applying fistula ligation and purse-string suture around the duct with cannula. The duct is ligated after introducing alcohol. EFFECT: accelerated treatment course; enhanced effectiveness of treatment. |
