FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new compounds showing antagonistic activity with respect to histamine H-receptors. New compounds involve substances of the formula (I) where D - CHor CH-CH,; Z - S or O but preferably - O; x = 0 or 1; n = 0-6; R- hydrogen atom or hydrolysable group but can mean lower alkyl or aryl group; R- linear chain, branched chain or carbocyclic group or aryl group containing to about 20 carbon atoms, or their salts. If Rmeans tert.-butyl, cyclohexyl or dicyclohexylmethyl-group then x and n must not = 0. If substituent Rmeans adamantane then total sum x + n must be above 1. Different alkyl and aryl groups can contain functional substituents. Example: 4-(1-cyclohexylvaleroyl-4-piperidyl)-1H-imidazole. EFFECT: enhanced quality, low toxicity.
