FIELD: photographic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: process is related to manufacture of monodispersive bromine- iodine-silver photographic emulsions with monocrystals of nucleus-shell type designed for production of fast high-resolution cine-photomaterials with improved informativity. Process consists in performance of controlled double-jet crystallization with constant values of pB=1.0-3.7 and pH =3.8-11.2 with simultaneous injection into solution No. l containing gelatin and water of solution No.2 carrying caustic silver and water and solution No.3 containing potassium iodide, potassium bromide and water in the form of 2-7 portions with diminished concentration of iodide of 0.06-0.40 mole/mole of silver in solution No.2, in first portion of solution No. 3 to 0.01-0.06 mole/mole of silver in solution No.2, last portion of solution No.3 by value 0.01-0.30 mole/mole of silver in solution No.2, with total quantity of potassium iodide in all portions of solution No.3 amounting to 0.04-0.25 mole/mole of silver in solution No.2 and volume of each portion of solution No.3 amounting to 5-90% of total volume of solution No.3 and with simultaneous injection into produced nucleus emulsion of solution No.4 containing caustic silver and water and solution No.5 containing potassium bromide and water or potassium bromide, potassium iodide and water with concentration of potassium iodide 0.005-0.05 mole/mole of silver in solution No.4 in presence of 1•10- 1•10mole/mole of silver in solutions No.2 and 4 of nitrogen-carrying heterocyclic compound of formula 1, where R, R=H, C-Cis alkyl. Novelty of process lies in performance of crystallization in presence of compound of formula 1 and in character of distribution of potassium iodide in portions of solution No.3 which enables informativity of photomaterials manufactured with the usage of given emulsions to be increased by 3-85% as compared with prototype thanks to improved relation between light sensitivity and resolution. EFFECT: increased informativity of photomaterials. 2 tbl |
