FIELD: striking mechanism is used in mining and other branches of national economy to crush fragile materials, separation of slime formations in metallurgical ladles. SUBSTANCE: aim is to increase effectiveness of fragile materials crushing and reliability of electromechanical striking mechanism operation. Striking mechanism has body, core-striker, in ring-type grooves of which there are short-circuited coils, induction coil made of several sections of shifted along axis in respect to each other, elastic member, lid, pulse current source. The new thing is, that coil is made single-row type divided for sections of stepped form and short-circuited coils are located at uniform distance from corresponding sections of induction coil.
