FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out retroparotid case blockade of sensory, secretory and vasomotor innervation of the parotid gland by introducing injection needle in keeping the mouth open at an angle of 70 deg to he skin surface directed upward, forward and inside from the inferior boundary of external auditory meatus to oval cranial opening 4 cm in depth and layer-by-layer injecting 10 ml of 2% local anesthetic solution and, when treating, 20 ml of 0.5% solution into the gland bed having auriculotemporal, facial, great auricular and periarterial sympathetic nerves forming intraorganic nerve plexus. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of anesthetic action. |
