FIELD: medical equipment, in particular, instruments for ophthalmologic operations. SUBSTANCE: the cystotome for front capsulotomia uses a handle and a cone-shaped knife bent upwards with the cutting member on the end, sharpened on both sides, and the edge on the tip. The novelty in the cystotome is in the fact that the cutting member has an additional cutting element positioned on the external side of the knife tip bending. This additional cutting element is made in the form of a pyramid truncated from the base on the side of the edge at an angle of 30 deg., and the side located opposite the edge serves as the cutting edge. EFFECT: reduced traumatism of eye tissues due to the fact that for an effective operation on the front capsule of the eye crystalline lens only one puncture of the glass lens will suffice. |
