PURPOSE: To provide a toy with uttering function and voice recognition function which can teach a dining manner to children. CONSTITUTION: The toy is provided with trigger switches SW1 and SW2 which are operated at the beginning or the end of a meal, voice recognition means 16 and 18 which recognize specific voices uttered by a child during a meal and voice generating means 15 and 18 which utter prescribed voices based on the output signals of the switches SW1 and SW2 or the means 16 and 18. The means 15 and 18 are provided with the function to utter the words to teach the proper manner during a meal and to praise the child. The means 16 and 18 have a function to recognize the words pronouced by the child. When the switches SW1 and SW2 are operated, the means 15 and 18 utter words to teach the manner. If the child hears these words and correctly pronouces words of appreciations, the means 16 and 18 recognize the words and utter the words of praises. |
