摘要 PURPOSE: To build up an optical path network economically by comparing a total number of optical lines required for an optical path network set again with a total number of optical lines required for an optical path network before 2nd setting so as to adopt the optical path network whose total number in the optical lines is smaller. CONSTITUTION: In order to set an optical path by controlling combinations of optical transmission lines 31-37 and a wavelength of an optical signal sent in the optical transmission lines 31-37, an optical path controller 61 is provided. Then a path tying nodes 1-6 in a shortest distance is selected among all paths and optical paths 41-46, 43' are set again to reduce number of optical lines in the optical transmission lines 31-37 with respect to the set path. Concretely the optical path network is set based on combinations of the optical transmission lines 31-37 and the wavelength of the optical signal sent in the optical transmission lines 31-37 and the optical path in a shortest distance is set again so that number of optical paths in the optical transmission lines 31-37 is an integer multiple of the wavelength based on a residue of number of optical paths contained in the optical transmission lines 31-37 by the wavelength.
