PURPOSE: To prevent erroneous manipulation by making it unnecessary for an operator to be corcious of the direction of paper in an image rotation function. CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with a control means 4 for determining, in automatic paper selection mode, form based on the size of the image of an original, set magnification, and the presence or absence of 90 deg. image rotation, and display means 6 and 7 for displaying the size and direction of the determined paper. In a 90 deg. image rotation operation, the direction of the form is not displayed but only the size of the form, therefore an operator is not concious of the direction of the form. |
