PURPOSE: To provide the input device diagnostic method and memory managing method of the monitor and control man-machine device which improves the reliability as a display device by diagnosing a fault of an input device and reduce the danger of a system down due to memory fullness by efficiently utilizing the memory. CONSTITUTION: To diagnose the input device fault, diagnostic software 5 is prepared on a display device 2, and to efficiently utilize the memory, a memory managing mechanism 10 is provided which allocates a memory managed in fixed memory blocks. |
