<p>PURPOSE: To provide an automatic stratum-elastic-wave generation method and its apparatus in which a shallow-layer reflection method is performed efficiently and fully automatically. CONSTITUTION: An automatic stratum-elastic-wave generation apparatus is provided with a thick wooden plate 11 which is laid and set on a ground surface G, with a hitting hammer 12 which knocks and hits one edge of a concave piece on the thick wooden plate 11, with a hammer rotation mechanism 7 which arc-moves the hitting hammer 12, with a hammer raising mechanism 8 which lifts the hitting hammer 12 up to the upper starting position of a free-fall arc movement and which is operated by a fluid pressure, with a hammer holding mechanism 9 which is installed at the upper-limit starting position of the free-fall arc movement of the hitting hammer 12, with a hammer brake mechanism 10 which slowly stops the free-fall arc movement of the hitting hammer 12, with a sensor 33 which detects the hit of one edge of the concave piece on the thick wooden plate 11, with a bomb B and with a control device D which continuously sequence-controls a series of hitting operations.</p> |
