PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent silencer performance and make assembly work easy by installing sound absorbing material within a box body composed of a main body part made of non-sound-insulation material and a box-shaped frame body provided with a connection part for connection of ducts provided on both ends thereof. SOLUTION: An external box-like form is defined by a flame body 2 made of synthetic resin having a cylindrical connection part 3, which is connected with a cuff of a duct hose having a bellows structure made of synthetic resin, protruding from a side face plate 4. An air flow hole 11 communicating with an interior of the connection part 3 is formed in an interior of the flame 2 includes and holds a main body part 10 made of a synthetic resin foam of open cell structure in the state of sandwiching an intermediate partition plate 17 made of a sound absorbing material and the intermediate partition plate 17 is made to face the air flow hole 11 along a whole length in a longitudinal direction. A surface of the main body 10 is coated with an impermeable protection sheet. |
