PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater control device which can prevent wasteful consumption of electric power by prohibiting the current carrying to the heater in the case of any failure. SOLUTION: After a certain period of time has passed since the current carrying to a heater was started, determination is made for the relationship between the power supplying amount in the specified period and the value of heater temp. rising, and from the obtained relationship the target temp. attaining time of the heater is calculated. At the time of attainment, checking is made that the heater temp. is identical to the target value, and if not, current carrying to the heater 1 is prohibited by a means 7. |
