Dust laying device fitted to public works or mining vehicles

The dust settling device has spray nozzles (3) fitted behind each of the wheels of the vehicle. The vehicle carries a reservoir for the liquid that is sprayed onto the road. A pump (11) delivers the liquid from the reservoir to the spray nozzles. Each nozzle has an atomisation system producing a mist inside an approximately conic volume (5) immediately behind each of the wheels. The atomisation system has a resonance chamber receiving both compressed air and water under pressure. The compressed air carries ultrasonic energy. Each nozzle is placed in an enclosure which is heated to avoid deposit of the mud and dust around the nozzles. The heating is provided by an electric resistance supplied by the vehicle battery.
