PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a method and a device for visualizing a laser beam, so as to accurately observe the cross sectional shape and positional information of the laser beam. SOLUTION: This device for visualizing an invisible laser beam 4 and easily executing the alignment adjustment of an optical system, such as optical axis adjustment, is constituted of a fluorescent board for converting the laser beam 4 into a visible light, a mirror 2 for reflecting the surface state of the board 1, a video camera 3 for photographing an image in the mirror 2, and so on. The board 1 is arranged so as to be inclined from the optical axis of a laser beam only by a suitable angle. The mirror 2 is arranged on a position which is separated from a beam axis 5 in a state inclined from the axis 5 similarly to the board 1. The video camera 3 is arranged in parallel with the axis 5, to photograph the laser beam 4 displayed on the board 1 through the mirror 2. |
