发明名称 BACK LIGHT DEVICE FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE: To prevent the section side where an incident light quantity is small from darkening in the display region of a liquid crystal panel by bringing the boundary between first and second optical parts closer to the second section side where the incident light quantity is small in correspondance to the ratio of the light quantity incident on the respective sections so as to lessen the difference in the illuminance between the first and second optical parts. CONSTITUTION: The position of the boundary CF is set in accordance with the ratio of the light quantity of the incident light at the respective sections 3a, 3b and a reflection surface 3f is formed in accordance with the the position of the boundary CF. As a result, the region (first optical part) nearer a wire-shaped light source 1a side than the boundary CF where the light from the wire-shaped light source 1a is emitted and the region (second optical part) nearer a wire-shaped light source 1b side than the boundary CF where the light from the wire-shaped light source 1b is emitted are made nearly equal in the illuminance. Namely, the regions on the sides respectively near the wire-shaped light sources 1a, 1b with the boundary CF as a boundary are made nearly equal in the illuminance if the boundary CF is set at a position where the distance between A and B is internally divided nearly to 2:1 in the case where the light quantity of the respective incident light rays at the section 3a, 3b satisfies the relation 2:1.
