PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the communication equipment that receives an incoming call without forced termination even when the incoming call comes from an external line during an extension speech or remote control. SOLUTION: In the case that a call signal is detected, an analog switch 52 is thrown from a terminal 0 to a terminal 1, and a mute switch 91 is closed. As a result, an SPOUT terminal of an ancillary telephone set 23, a TXAUDIO terminal of a transmission reception section 27, and a monitor speaker 22 are connected to a clock generating circuit 26. A square wave to generate a call tone on an external line from the clock generating section 26 is sent to the SPOUT terminal of the ancillary telephone set 23, the TXAUDIO terminal of the transmission reception section 27, and the monitor speaker 22. As a result, a call tone of an external line that is superimposed on a speech voice is sounded from a speaker of the ancillary telephone set 23 and a speaker of a cordless telephone set and the call tone from the external line is sounded from the monitor speaker 22.
