PURPOSE: To provide a flat tube for a heat exchanger in which the heat exchanging efficiency is improved in the state by effectively engaging plates to each other over the entire surface and a method for manufacturing the same. CONSTITUTION: A flat tube for a heat exchanger is formed by bending one plate or superposing two plates, and a plurality of rows of long beads 16 are formed over the longitudinal direction of the plates at the plates. Simultaneously, the opposite sites of the plates opposed at the beads are formed in a flat surface, the tops of the beads are connected to the flat surface 15, a plurality of channels 17 are formed of the beads and the flat surface, and a plurality of passages 18 communicating with the adjacent channels are formed at the suitable positions of the beads formed over the longitudinal direction of the plates. |
