PURPOSE: To provide a new complex infrared ray transmission material(ITM), especially a complex IRE(internal reflection element), a complex transmission cell, and a complex discharge cell to be used for housing a spectral analysis sample or for bring brought into contact with the sample. CONSTITUTION: An ITM is provided with first and second light transmission material bodies 11 and 12, and the second light transmission material body 12 is located between the first light transmission material 11 and a sample during analysis to inhibit the sample from contacting the first sample body 11. The second material body 12 is imparted with high durability for the sample, a proper mechanical strength, and a proper light transmission characteristic. |
