摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the measuring accuracy, by enhancing sensitivity uniformity of bulk material at various positions in a sample to be analyzed by the bulk load material analyzer of a type for applying shock to the separate load material with neutrons in an activating area. SOLUTION: A bulk load material 38 is stored in an activating area 34. A neutron decelerating member 20 is arranged between a pair of neutron sources 14 and a pair of gamma ray detectors 16. A neutron absorber 23, which is arranged proximately to one side of activating area, decreases the ratio of thermal neutrons to enter the activating area 34 from one side of activating area 34. A reflector 25, which is arranged proximately to the gamma ray detectors 16 and the activating area 34 on the opposite side of activating area 34, applies shock to the bulk load material 38 in the activating area by reflecting neutrons into the activating area. The neutron absorber and/or neutron reflector can be adjusted.
