PURPOSE: To provide a small-sized developing device capable of printing with high accuracy and high definition. CONSTITUTION: The developing device 1 is provided with a gap control member 9 installed above a photoreceptor belt 10 and installed inside the photoreceptor belt 10 and a gap controlling roller installed on both sides of a developing roller 2, and by pressing the gap control member 9 against the gap controlling roller, an interval between the developing roller 2 and the photoreceptor belt 10 is set <=0.9mm. Besides, an interval between a developer amount control board 5 for controlling the amount of developer supplied to the devloping roll 2 and the developing roller 2 is set <=0.7mm. Thus, disturbance in an image are prevented at developing, and also, printing with high accuracy and high definition is accomplished by developing with high efficiency. Besides, it is effective for the miniaturization, the speeding-up and the life prolongation of the device. |
