PURPOSE: To extract only required information among various information sets included in teletext broadcast programs and to store the required information. CONSTITUTION: A teletext signal selected by a tuner 42 in a teletext information storage device 4 is fed to a character information reception circuit 46 via an IF detection circuit 43 and a waveform equalization circuit 44 and information designated by an information designation section 45 is extracted and stored in a memory 47. The stored information is read by a terminal equipment 5 connected externally and displayed on a display section 5a. Furthermore, a power supply device 50 supplies power to each circuit and charges a battery of the terminal equipment 5. Thus, the desired information extracted from teletext information and stored and the teletext information distribution system is built up by providing the storage device to lots of users.
